"Piece on the Prairie" Quilt Show

Hosted by the Material Girls Quilt Guild

We had a great turnout for our first quilt show.  There were over 214 items on display.  Many of our guests commented on how nice the show was and they were very surprised that most of the items all came from within the Guild.   We had a wonderful building to use and we would like to thank Bill Kurtis for letting us use his building.  We also would like to thank Service Office & Supply for printing all of our materials, Green Acres for letting us borrow the live plants that were on display and Brown Furniture for loaning of a bed for the antique bed turnings.

Carol Elmore did a wonderful job.  She presented three Antique Bed Turning throughout the weekend and did quilt appraisals.  We would like to thank the vendors that came to our show:  Seams Good, Owasso, OK;  Treasured Stitches, Sand Springs, OK;  Bob's Shop, Pittsburg, KS and
L & T Machine Quilting/Fabric, Cherryvale, KS.
